Rally for Amtrak

Rally for Amtrak: Safe and Reliable Transportation for All

Amtrak connects communities, supports good union jobs, and offers a cleaner, more reliable way to travel. But it can’t thrive without public investment and public pressure.

That’s why we’re organizing Rallies for Amtrak across the country.
Join us on Saturday, September 20 to demand a fully funded, expanded, and accountable national passenger rail system—one that puts people before profits.

Why We Rally

Millions of Americans rely on Amtrak to visit family, commute to work, or travel affordably across the country. Yet decades of underfunding, corporate freight interference, and policy neglect have kept our national rail system from reaching its full potential.

We believe in:

  • Reliable, on-time trains

  • More frequent and affordable service

  • A fully funded national rail network

  • Clean, safe trains maintained by union workers

  • Strong labor rights and job protections

  • A public system that serves the public—always

Because It Works

From Vermont to California, states that have invested in passenger rail have seen ridership grow and communities thrive. Funding Amtrak means:

  • Good-paying union jobs

  • Less traffic and pollution

  • Safer, more sustainable travel

  • Equity and freedom to move

Let’s rally together—for better trains, stronger communities, and a rail system that works for all of us.
